MAKTEK Konya Fair Hosts 36.415 Visitors
MAKTEK KONYA 2nd Machine Tools, Metal – Sheet Metal Processing Machines Tool Holders – Cutting Tools, Quality Control – Measurement Systems, CAD/CAM, PLM Software and Manufacturing Technologies Fair organized by Tüyap Konya Fairs Organization Inc. was held between October 11-14, 2023 at Konya Chamber of Commerce - Tüyap Konya International Fair Center, in collaboration with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association (TIAD) and Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association (MIB), and in association with Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Konya Chamber of Commerce.The fair made a difference with the extent of its scope and its wide exhibitor profile, where industry leaders operating in the fields of machine tools, metal - sheet metal processing machines, tool holders – cutting tools, quality control – measurement systems, CAD/CAM, PLM software and manufacturing technologies exhibited their latest technology products and services.
Power of Konya in the machine industry was exhibited at this fair
Holder of a record by achieving an export volume of USD 789 million in 2022 in the machinery and components industry, Konya machinery industry reinforced its successful growth with the help of MAKTEK KONYA Fair this year. Organized on an area of 45.000 m2 with the exhibited of 351 companies and company representatives from 20 countries in the fair organized in Konya, a convenient city for industrial investments, the Fair has left its mark on the industry, as the biggest meeting of the industry in the Anatolian region and as an effective business platform where latest-technology products and services are exhibited.
The industry is looking forward to meet again at the fair, which was visited by 35.804 local visitors from 74 provinces in Türkiye and 611 international visitors from 50 countries, as a result of the intensive promotional activities carried out in European countries, the Balkans, Turkish Republics, Northern Africa and Middle Eastern regions, particularly in coordination with TÜYAP's foreign offices.
Record-High Increase in the Number of Exhibitors and Visitors!
The number of exhibitor companies that exhibited in the fair rose by 17% in comparison to the former one and a record-high increase has also been achieved in the number of visitors. The number of foreign visitors rose by 169%, thus revealing the prestige of the fair in the international arena. The rate of increase in the total number of visitors reached 22%. This successful growth made the visitors and exhibitors leave the fair in a satisfied manner, which represents an indicator of how the fair will preserve its status as one of the leading fairs in the industry in future years.
